Feedback on our new logo has been overwhelmingly positive, but many have asked the obvious question – what’s with the dot in the tag line, Intelligent I-dot-T?
There are two aspects that lead to this unique usage, the first being design. Intelligent I.T. proved to be too long visually. Intelligent IT looked like Intelligent “it” – and what’s “it”? Our designers played with the I.T concept and pitched it to us as a nod to a common concept in our industry – versioning – such as subsequent software versions. At first, we thought it was crazy, but it grew on us in time. It allows us to be more than IT – We’re I-dot-T… a version ahead. In addition, it gives us leverage to play with some of our messaging, such as Work.Flow.
